Easter celebrated at the Penitentiary from Cluj-Napoca

The women in custody of the Gherla Penitentiary were able to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ with a group of 12 volunteers who chose to visit them, to bring them the Good News of salvation through the death and resurrection of Jesus and to offer them a gift containing products of body hygiene, food, a stamped envelope and Christian literature.

The 50 people present at our meeting enjoyed the songs of the volunteer group led by Andreica Alisa and accompanied by Emi Pavel but also by the solo songs of the same singer, which through her voice received from God, managed to touch the hearts of women and to convey to them the great love shown by the death of His Son.

The program, which took place on April 19, lasted 90 minutes, and alongside the songs, the present ones could also hear a message about the death and resurrection of the King's Son. The message was presented by sister Ionac Viorica and at the end she also said an unpleasant experience through the death of the only child, and how the love of God managed to bring her out of this test, as a winner.

At the end of the meeting, we prayed together and we want God to change their lives and to make them aware of the true meaning of Easter celebration.
