On winter holidays, the "Rescue" foundation has prepared a total of 910 packages for inmates who are not visited by families. Thus, on 17 December, a group of 22 volunteers prepared at the headquarters of the "Rescue" foundation, (with address in Cluj Napoca, street Fabricii, number 4), a total of 850 packages, 150 of which were specially prepared for imprisoned women and the remaining for men. The packages contained personal hygiene items (soap, paste and razor, toothbrush and paste, toilet paper ..), clothing (socks, jeans), food (cake, biscuits, oranges) and Christian literature ( magazines, envelopes and the New Testaments of motorcyclists). Another 60 packages were prepared by volunteers from Vaslui who were involved in their geographical area. These packages were given to detainees, most unvisited by their family and held in maximum security penitentiaries as Aiud, Arad, Cluj external unit of Gherla, and Mures Penitentiary. We are happy to say that we already have a good tradition in this regard and hope it will continue for the future.
