Volunteers in Cluj
As the light must lighten and the salt must give flavor, so Christians must be a witness to their peers. To this end, on 07 October a group of volunteers formed of believers from Cluj and Bistrita, visited Maximum Security Penitentiary Gherla, Cluj Outer Section.
As the light must lighten and the salt must give flavor, so Christians must be a witness to their peers. To this end, on 07 October a group of volunteers formed of believers from Cluj and Bistrita, visited Maximum Security Penitentiary Gherla, Cluj Outer Section.
The target group was over 120 women imprisoned who had the opportunity not only to socialize, not only to interact with others, but hear the message of the call to salvation and feel the loving call of our Lord Jesus Christ. The ten volunteers present prepared 150 gifts of personal hygiene items, so that all the women present and other women who are retained by other activities, have received such attention from our volunteers.
We are grateful for the effort of both our volunteers and prison staff, who bring light and salt in the lives of those who are in darkness and have not yet caught the taste of true life.
