Another kind of Easter!

A special day for 39 women from Gherla Penitentiary, the "Lotus" Therapeutic Center, wich had 3 hours for themselves and were made to feel important by a group of women volunteer from several churches in Cluj-Napoca and Belis.

Another kind of Easter!

Even if they are not at liberty, women have had hairdressing, cosmetics and manicures. For 3 hours, the 10 volunteers who visited the Lotus Therapeutic Center under the co-ordination of pastor Romeo Popan tried to make those present to feel value and that they are loved regardless of their status.

In addition to the "beauty salon" on April 16, the people present also had free conversations with visitors and received Christian literature. The women were very satisfying and they asked us to repeat such activities because they really felt they were loved.

The purpose of the Rescue Foundation through such activities is to show to those in custody of any penitentiary that they are of value in the eyes of God, and we thank Him for sending the right volunteers who can convey to those deprived of their liberty, His love for the Father.

    I met you, in a place called “hell” and my sinful soul rejoiced when it got to know God and hear of His Love for humans, and of His great sacrifice -the only beloved Son. If God made this sacrifice for all people, my answer is that I want to be like you, not to be ashamed of myself, to become a child of God, to return Home to my Father, and to do what He wanted me to do.
