We are delighted to discover that our older friends and collaborators came back and get involved in the activities of the Rescue Foundation. In this respect, a group of believers of the church, "Rugul Aprins", United Kingdom, returned and carried out a moral-religious activity in the Aiud High Security Penitentiary.
We are privileged because of friendships and collaborations that we have across the borders of our country. In this respect, a gentleman of African origin, but a citizen of the United States of America, accompanied by pastor Romeo Popan, had a meeting in the Aiud High Security Penitentiary.
On the occasion of Roma Day, a group of believers from the Pentecostal Church "Izvorul Mântuirii" Bucharest, accompanied by the soloist Romeo Stan, together with the elder Burloi Iulian, visited the Aiud High Security Penitentiary.
It's a blessing that we are always encouraged, as every year, with groups of missionaries from Denmark who visit Romania in order to get involved in the work promoted and carried out by "Rescue" Foundation Romania. This year also, a group of brothers with much experience in the ministry, were made available to God to be a blessing to churches in Romania and to inmates, to whom they shared the truth that God can restore life to everyone, regardless of background that someone had.
Can anyone live happy unless he understands the true nature of forgiveness? A person who needed to understand this truth was Miss Dorina Iepan. Accompanied by a group of musicians from Bethel Pentecostal Church Zorilor, in a frame of harmony songs and poems spoken by these volunteers, Dorina Iepan brought a profound testimony of her life experiences.
As the light must lighten and the salt must give flavor, so Christians must be a witness to their peers. To this end, on 07 October a group of volunteers formed of believers from Cluj and Bistrita, visited Maximum Security Penitentiary Gherla, Cluj Outer Section.
A very special event took place on 16th of June in Maximum Security Penitentiary, Outer Cluj Department . Thus, a group of faithful women of Pentecostal Church ”Hope”, Cluj Napoca, brought a strong and exciting incentive to almost 100 women detainees.
Neither this time, we did not passed up the opportunity to get involved in the lives of those deprived of liberty, so, on 11th of June, a group of five volunteers from Cluj county, with Pastor Romeo Popan and Mr. Pop Constantin, visited the penitentiary in Targu Mures.
