It was great that during 10 to 23 October 2015, we have had among us a group of 6 danish believers who visited several Romanian prisons.
The first day, together with a group of volunteers from Burning Bush Church Cluj, they met with a group of about 180 women imprisoned in the Maximum Security Penitentiary Gherla, Cluj Outer Section. The impact of the songs and testimonies could not be ignored.
The next day, on the 20th, Danish Mission continued in Targu Mures, where, together with a group of young people from the Army of God, sang and encouraged by testimonies the nearly 60 men imprisoned. Message of restoration remained like a reminding stone to those present.
On the third day, the way led to Aiud, where along with many believers from the Baptist Church Sânnicoară attended the public baptism of six men deprived of their liberty, men who found the chance of a new start. In the presence of seen witnesses and in the presence of God they have witnesed to live a new life.
On the fourth day, still in Aiud, work continued serving 100 other detainees, when assisted by edifying songs of a group of young Pentecostal Bethel Dawn. The Christian message has resounded powerfully, those present being able to identify with testimonies and messages of hope shared by the danesh.
The last day of the trip ended with the Maximum Security Penitentiary Gherla. Although a cold day hearts of those present were softened and warmed from the atmosphere of the meeting. A group of about 40 men deprived of freedom, though some of them too young to be there, have had the opportunity to see new beginning that God is ready to give every man.
We thank the danish group who sacrificed for this mission and are also thankfull for the voluntiers that have strenghtened the work.
