On 28th of November 2015 a group of 5 people from the Baptist Church "Emanuel" in Barlad, went to Vaslui Penitentiary where we shared the Gospel to 30 inmates. We glorified God through songs, poems and meditations. The message was preached from Isaiah 55:1-13. The topic was: "Why should you make peace with God?". We talked about the fact that God is calling us to quench the thirst of our soul, to give us eternal life, give us His rest and let our thoughts and our evil ways. Then we have shown that God forgives us, does not get tired doing this. Finally we have shown that God has a plan for our lives, including those present. Instead of the thorn shall rise roses instead of hatred, bitterness, violence, bad deeds, God can put new things, a new life. Finally we distributed Christian literature inmates and one stamped envelope. Thank God for the grace given to us by Him to serve that day in that place. It was a blessed time! Pastor: Marius Vaduva.
