On May 13, a group of 20 volunteers from the Rescue Foundation, under the guidance of Mr. Mateiu Nicolae, conducted an interesting activity in the Aiud Maximal Penitentiary. Approximately 40 young people deprived of their liberty were involved in this project, which aimed at both the dressing up of the prisoners' space by planting flowers and gardening, and a sporting competition where those anxious to show their athletic capabilities had the opportunity, not just to get involved, but also to learn the ethics of sports. The 4-hour activity ended with an lecture that sought to deepen the lessons that were exemplified by the project, and encouragement and self-esteem were the direct benefits of those involved. As the end of the meeting, everyone present enjoyed a pizza, juice and cake dish. We thank all those present and the 20 volunteers, members of the Adoratio Pentecostal Church Floresti, which continues to be an example of dedication and a model for the young people they work with.
