The event began with a time of singing and continued with a series of testimonies and exhortations relevant for the need of those forced to celebrate away from their families. Each participant had the opportunity to discover a God that despite the trials of our lives fill us with peace, a God who has the power to forgive and to transform, a God that warns us about the intentions of the devil who seeks to destroy us lives. During the meeting tears could be seen on the faces of those used to personal bankruptcy, and the gleam of hope and trust in a God who can rehabilitate and redeem. Finally, through the generosity of Butas family, each present person received a gift consisting some sweets and personal hygiene goods. We thank all the volunteers who value and invest their time and resources in this work.
